Choosing your flowers
There are several options you have to customize and design your Pressed Floral frame. The first personalization is choosing the flowers that will be pressed in your frame. From bright blooms with brilliant silhouettes to botanicals with natural greens and neutral toned flowers with soft edges– depending on the season, the theme of a wedding, or the gardens that bloom in your season. While the look, feel, and vibe of live flowers at your event is what matters in the moment, it never hurts to take in account how they will preserve in a Pressed Floral Frame.
Another factor to consider is the fact that not all flowers press the same! For example, while daisy variations and ferns retain their structured shape and color well after pressing, flowers such as peonies, ranunculus and roses actually require more care and expertise to effectively preserve them because of petal thickness and moisture content, so their luxe, 3-dimensional shape that you see when they are alive will not be the same when they are pressed between glass.

Examples: When one of our client’s mother passed, our client created a frame of flowers that held her mother’s favorite flowers in her hometown. She also incorporated flowers that are traditional in symbolizing the month of May– the birth month of her mom.

Depending on how big your bouquet or flower arrangement is, you'll want to choose what size frame they will be displayed in! Our sizes range from a smaller 6x8 boutonniere frame to our larger 18x24 frame. For reference, an average size wedding bouquet usually fits comfortably in our 16x24, and any larger or smaller frames will size up or down.

Pressed Floral allows you to choose several backing options to make your piece your own. Our traditional glass on glass look is elegant, unique, and fluid to let your blooms stand alone without being contrasted with any other material. Our linen, paper on linen, and paper on glass options allow your flowers to stand out against a classical solid white background. While Linen covers the entire background, our paper options cover just around your flowers to allow the raw edge of the natural paper to add texture to your piece. .
