The answer is yes!
Every Pressed Floral piece begins with your flowers, but how those flowers are arranged, framed, and finished is something you have real input on. This guide walks through multiple customization options available to you, what each design style looks like, and how to communicate your preferences so that your finished piece feels entirely personal.
There is no single right answer when it comes to how your piece should look. And if what you are envisioning is not covered in the options below, that is not the end of the conversation. Our team can work with you to make almost anything happen. If you have a vision, bring it to us.
Traditional
Our most popular style. Blooms are arranged in a horizontal frame in a rounded, bouquet-like shape that closely echoes how your flowers looked when they were held together. If you want your piece to feel familiar and classic, with your blooms gathered at the center in a full arrangement, Traditional is likely the style for you. It is a natural choice for full, rounded bouquets with a range of bloom types and sizes.
Diagonal
Blooms are arranged in clustered groups that move across the frame at an angle, creating a sense of movement and visual flow. Rather than a single central collection, the arrangement is divided into distinct groupings that travel diagonally from one area of the frame to another. This style works particularly well for arrangements with strong color variation or distinct bloom types that benefit from being grouped and highlighted individually.
Garden
Your blooms are positioned as though they are growing up from the bottom of the frame, mimicking the natural upward growth of a living arrangement. Stems are incorporated into the design rather than removed during preservation, making this style a particularly strong choice for wildflower bouquets, loose arrangements, and any florals with significant stem presence. If your bouquet had a natural, organic, just-gathered quality to it, the Garden style honors that.
Puzzled
Individual blooms are spaced across the frame with intentional separation between each one, giving every flower its own moment. Rather than clustering or grouping, each bloom is treated as a distinct element within the composition. The florals can be arranged all facing the same direction, or have a more free look facing every direction. This style works beautifully for arrangements with a variety of meaningful blooms that each carry their own significance.
Corners
Blooms are placed in two opposite corners of the frame, leaving generous negative space between them. The result is an arrangement that feels intentional, with a strong sense of balance. This style suits clients who are drawn to a more editorial, less traditional aesthetic, and it works well for arrangements where a smaller selection of blooms can anchor the composition without needing to fill the entire frame.
Vertical
The Vertical style mirrors the Traditional design in approach but is presented in a vertical frame orientation, producing a shape that echoes an upside-down teardrop. Like the Garden style, Vertical is also well suited to stemmy bouquets, as the orientation naturally accommodates length and flow. If your bouquet was long and cascading rather than round, this style is worth considering.

Other Factors to Consider
A final note on customization
Customization happens at two points in the process. The first is at purchase, where you will select your size, frame color, glass type, backing, and design style. The second is throughout the design phase, where you will communicate directly with your designer through our app, see your arrangement take shape, and request any adjustments before anything is finalized.
Nothing is sealed without your approval. If you want to change any detail about your order at any point before sealing, including your frame color, glass, backing, design style, or size, simply reach out to our team and we will take care of it. The purchase decisions are a starting point, not a contract.
If you are not sure which design style, frame, or backing is right for you, you do not need to have it figured out before you purchase. Make your best choice knowing that everything is adjustable before sealing, and trust that the design phase gives you a real opportunity to shape the final result.
Our team is also always available to talk through your options before you buy. If you want a recommendation based on your specific bouquet type, your space, or the aesthetic you are going for, reach out. There is very little we cannot make happen.
