Shipping your own blooms
Follow the diagram BELOW for a visual on how to ship your blooms using materials around your home
Step 1
Gather your materials
- Print PDF
- An adequate size box*A smaller size box to act as a vase base (*optional)
- Packing paper or peanuts (no bubblewrap or plastic)
- Paper towel
- Rubber band
- Plastic bag (ziploc, grocery, etc.)
Step 2
Stem prep: cut and wrap
- Freshly cut stems to fit box height (remove any pendants/ ribbons/ papers you want to keep before shipping)
- Dampen the paper towel and use to cover the STEMS ONLY and THEN wrap paper towel with plastic bag, secured with a rubber band
Step 3
Boxing the Blooms
- If you have optional *small vase-size box: Insert wrapped stems into *small box to stabilize stems in shipping box.
- Place bouquet with wrapped stems in shipping box
Step 4
Add packing Filler and PDF
- Add crumpled brown packing paper or peanuts to fill empty space. (DO NOT USE BUBBLE WRAP OR ANY MORE PLASTIC)
- Fill out PDF and place in box
Step 5
Gather your materials
- Take box to UPS or FedEx and pay for shipping to one of our shop locations. We recommend overnight or 1-2 day shipping!

OTHER TIPS:
- Fragile upright box so that the bouquet doesn't get thrown around
- DO NOT WRAP FLOWERS IN ANY KIND OF PLASTIC. This includes bubblewrap.
- DO NOT let a shipping carrier package it for you, they tend to wrap them in plastic bags.
- Crumbled paper, dry paper towels, packing peanuts, are all great options that are not plastic!
- Make sure not to wrap the entire bouquet in a bag, keep the blossoms uncovered and away from moisture or they can mold
-We do NOT recommend placing your florals in the freezer
- We do NOT recommend shipping them in a Styrofoam cooler
- We suggest UPS or FedEx as they tend to have the best rates and service
- You'll want to ship it either overnight or 1-2 day shipping, which can be expensive. If you cannot afford the cost of quick shipping, try a priority mailbox from USPS. This will bring down the cost, but will also get your flowers to us much later, which runs the risk of them coming in unworkable condition!

Our shop is not open on the weekends, do not schedule a shipment to arrive on Saturday or Sunday, or before our opening hours (paying additional to have your package arrive before 10am overnight is not necessary, they will redeliver it during our hours.)
All arrangements will be notified of delivery within 48 hours of arrival. You will be able to see the condition, and know of any blooms that may have arrived unworkable.
Pressed Florals was such a great company to work with. I loved my wedding bouquet SO MUCH and wanted to keep it forever and now I am able to because of them. I enjoyed being able to follow along with progress in their app. I also appreciated being able to approve the final design. I highly recommend this company. I got the 16x20 frame and felt that was the perfect size.
I loved my Pressed Floral frame! It's pricey but high quality and a seamless. I would recommend not buying Pressed Floral's shipping box to send your florals in and just getting fresh florals ordered with the team. I sent my bouquet in and it showed up in bad shape and had to be reordered. I worked with Kyla and she made it really easy for me to get back on track. I just had to send a picture of my bouquet and she knew every flower without me having to tell her! Ordering the flowers cost the same as the box for me so I would say it's better to just let the team get fresh flowers for higher quality results. It saves you the effort of having to package and ship your flowers too. If you choose to buy Pressed Floral's shipping box, make sure to get the insurance in case it doesn't show up in a good state. Anyway, the final product was exceptional and a work of art. Such an awesome business idea! I could see myself buying more from them in the future. Thank you to the Pressed Floral team!
Everyone who works here is SO kind and helpful! My wedding bouquet and husband's boutonniere were preserved and they turned out GORGEOUS. They make sure to approve the layout of the pressed florals before the frame is sealed to make sure that it is everything their client wants and more. The price is so worth the level of customer service and how beautiful the end product is. 100/10 reccomend!
